About Me

Hi, I’m Kimberly. I’ve worked in hospitality and tourism pretty much my whole adult life, and I’ve had the chance to experience the industry from a lot of different angles. I started in hotels and spent several years working my way through guest services and operations, eventually managing full teams and overseeing everything from daily revenue to housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance.

Over time, I moved more into travel trade sales, which opened the door to working with clients from all over the world. I’ve attended international trade shows, built long-term partnerships, and helped create sales processes, contracts, and marketing materials for hotels and attractions. I’ve also been part of a major attraction launch in the Niagara tourism market, which gave me a front-row seat to how new products develop from the ground up.

I graduated with honours from Niagara College in both Hotel & Restaurant Management and Travel & Tourism Marketing. Those programs gave me a solid foundation early on, but nothing can beat the years of hand on experience with team, clients and partners.

Outside of work, I live in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, where life is happily busy and a little chaotic in the best way. We have dogs, rabbits, chickens and too many gardens to count, so there’s always something going on. I have two daughters who competitively dance and horseback ride, so many of our evenings and weekends are spent at studios, barns, and competitions. I’m also a 4-H leader, which has become a big part of our family life and a great way to stay connected to the community.

I love this industry and genuinely enjoy sharing what I have learned, helping people feel more confident in what they do, and finding ways to make things clearer and easier for everyone.
